Fixes words typed in the wrong keyboard layout on Mac

Typed a word with the wrong keyboard language on? LayFlip retypes it in the right one when you press Space. It is a small Mac app that watches for words typed in the wrong keyboard layout and fixes them when you press Space, switching your input source at the same time. There is no hotkey to remember.

It was built to stay out of the way. Fixes happen only at the end of a word, never on Enter, so messages are sent exactly as you see them. In terminals, code editors and password managers it does not autocorrect by default, and each app can be set to autocorrect, keys only or off from the menu bar. If another layout switcher is running, LayFlip tells you so words are not fixed twice. It uses under 50 MB of memory and next to no CPU when idle.

Languages: English with Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic and Persian. Your text stays on your Mac: words are checked against dictionaries inside the app, and the app is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

Try it free for 14 days without a card. After that, the manual tools (double Shift, the layout switch key, case change) keep working for free, and automatic fixing is a $9.99 one-time purchase that covers two Macs. Requires macOS 15 Sequoia or later, Apple Silicon or Intel.
